How we work
C-Prove will visit to you to discuss which of your products or semi-finished products are best to be produced in China. We collect the information of these products: Drawings, samples and specifications. We will ask our suppliers for a competitive quotation. Once the bids are in, we will discuss with you accordingly.
The C-Prove method
Meeting
We start with a meeting in which we discuss the needs and wants of the product. From that point we onwards can make a plan to get started
Planning
When all points are discussed, we make a plan for production to get samples, and eventually start producing.
Production
You’ve received the samples and agreed on production. Now things are really getting started!
Q.C.
Q.C. = Quality Control
When production has finished, our inspectors will take care of quality control.
Delivery
When the product have been checked and approved, we take care of shipping your product to your warehouse. We’ve completed the circle!

What are the costs?
In the preliminary stage, when we will introduce a number of products and come with proposals, we do not charge any fee. We do not charge for applications or research. If samples are made, we will tell you the total cost. In case there are special tools or moulds required, we will always inform you in advance. For example for cast iron, or tooling’s for bending metal sheets, there can be tooling charges. These costs are always mentioned in our quotations and will only be charged after full approval by the customer.
C-Prove does not charge hourly rates. Our expenses are included in the prices we offer. No hidden costs. C-Provence will never charge any fee that has not previously been agreed in writing!
Shipping
We are not a forwarder or shipping agent. For questions only about shipping or transportation, you can contact a specialized forwarder. However, we take care of the transportation of products for our customers. We co-operates with reliable carriers who feel responsible for your products.
Modes of transport
Shipping by container
Most of the goods from China come to the European in a container. Carried on huge ships with up to 20,000 containers on one ship. This is by far the cheapest way of transportation.
In most cases, the supplier will prefer to deliver FOB. This means that the supplier takes care of the transportation of the container to harbor. From the harbor, the costs are the responsibility of the receiver, including sea freight, insurance, local handling and transportation from the harbor (usually Rotterdam) to your warehouse. There can be additional costs, like clearance. These fees can be calculated in the price for the products, or can, on request of the customer, be charged separately.
Air or express
Despite the much higher costs, there is still a relatively large number of products sent by air. Sometimes because of a deadline, sometimes because of sensitive goods that require more care. Samples are usually send with express carriers (DHL, UPS, TNT).
More information for you
It can be a big challenge to buy from China. The cost for your product or semi-finished product is significantly lower when part of your products are made in China. You will have better competition. And the quality of the products from China is overall equal or sometimes even better compared to the quality of (semi finished) products produced in Europe.
